Save your camping memories in this handcrafted twig frame.

This is a great activity to keep kids busy at camp and create a family keepsake to frame photos of your camping trip.

What you need:

• Twigs
• Cardboard - with the center cut out for the frame
• Acrylic paint if you want to add color
• Glue stick or if you have electric hot glue 
• Twine
• flower snips
• found items for decoration

• Take a nature walk and gather an assortment of twigs - remember to carry a bag for hauling you twigs back to camp.
• Snip the twigs to the right size for the frame (an adult should do this or supervise closely)
• If you are adding color this is when you should paint individual twigs.  It's nice to leave some their natural color.  The color will be rough and rustic - that just adds to the charm.
• Glue the twigs closely together on the cardboard
• Glue twine to the back of the cardboard
• Glue found items like feathers or acorns to the frame.
• Add you photos and enjoy!
