How to Make Paper Plate Art

You can make a variety of fun paintings and pictures out of a simple paper plate.  Use your imagination!

Supplies
Paper plates
Paints
Newspaper to put underneath your plate as you work
Glue
Pens

Directions for a watermelon picture
Paint the flat, inner circle of your plate red.  Using another plate, color a big patch black and cut out teardrop shaped seeds.  When your red paint dries, glue on the seeds.  Then paint the outside rim of the plate green.
