Sand or Salt Painting for Camping Kids

If you are camping or RVing at the beach (or just doing a virtual beach trip) here's an easy, fun project that will keep kids entertained.

Things you need:

• Sand or salt

- if you want colored sand click here for the recipe

• Colored construction paper if you are using natural colored sand, white or a complimentary color if you are using colored sand
• Crayons, colored pencils, pens or markers

1. Draw a picture using the crayons or other drawing tool on the construction paper
2. using the glue stick "color in" the lines of your drawing
3. sprinkle sand over the glue stick
4. let dry for 15 minutes or so
5. then shake off excess sand.
