Nutty Monkey Fruit Salad


Ingredients
Apples
Oranges
Bananas
Shredded coconut
Grapes

Cut the apples, oranges, and bananas into bite-sized pieces.  Peel the apples if you like and discard the cores and other tough areas.  Combine in a large bowl. Add the grapes and stir in 1/4 to a 1/2 cup of shredded coconut.
 

Pooh-Bear Sandwiches

Ingredients
Graham crackers
Peanut butter
Honey

In a bowl, mix together peanut butter and honey until your mixture is smooth and easy to spread.  Spread it onto a square of graham crackers and place another square on top to make a sandwich.

Ingredients
Celery stalks
Peanut butter
Raisins or chocolate chips

Wash the celery stalks and cut them into two or three-inch long segments.  Spread with peanut butter and dot each one with black or golden raisins (the “ants”) or chocolate chips.  This is a yummy and filling snack!
 

Tomato Potato Soup

Tomato Potato Soup


Ingredients
Tomato soup mix or concentrate
Two large potatoes
1 can corn
pepper and other spices

Start by peeling the potatoes and cutting them into cubes.  Prepare the tomato soup by following the directions.  Add the potato cubes right away and cook the soup, simmering gently, until the potatoes are soft.  Serve with pepper.
 

Yummy Mac and Cheese

Yummy Mac and Cheese

Ingredients
5 cups cooked elbow macaroni (8 ounces raw)
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons flour
2 cups milk
3/4 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
pepper to taste

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Stir flour into the butter until the mixture is smooth. Gradually add milk, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.  Add the cheese and keep on the heat, stirring until the cheese is completely melted. In an 8x10-inch baking dish, alternate layers of macaroni and cheese sauce. Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 20 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.

Serves 6.
